Church Life

In addition to weekly worship services, our church life includes many activities related to the teaching ministry to which Christ has appointed us (Matthew 28:19-20; 2 Timothy 2:2).

Sunday School

In these classes, children begin to learn from the stories of the Bible, the history of God’s people and the life of the church to which they are called (Matthew 19:14; Ephesians 6:1). We meet on Sunday after the morning service.

As children grow older they will need further instruction to grow and mature in their faith (Psalm 78:6; 1 Peter 2:2-3). Catechism,  taken from the Greek word meaning ‘teaching,’ seeks to instill in growing minds and hearts, the doctrines of the church. This class meets on weekdays, varying from year to year.

Ladies & Men’s Bible Studies

Adults must “continue in the things [they] have learned and been assured of” (2 Timothy 3:14) so that their fellowship may not be divorced from doctrine, as per the apostolic example (Acts 2:42). The ladies meet every other Monday night at the church, starting at 7:30 pm. The men meet every other Thursday night at the church, starting at 8:00 pm. Please see our Bible study page to find out what we are studying this year.

New Member’s Class

This class is offered to anyone who would like to learn and know more about who we are and what we believe. Please use the form on our contact page to request a time to meet with our pastor.

Vacation Bible School

The ladies of our church teach a week long class in the summer where elementary aged children from the community and congregation learn more about God’s Word and His will for their lives. Please use the form on our contact page to find out when we are meeting this summer.
